In the weeks before Election Day, current chapter Brothers alongside the Tau Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated held an event to educate students on the upcoming election. We provided students on the importance of voting, and key dates concerning registration, early voting and the actual election date. In addition, we gave
out important voting resources that each organization provides along with general sites too. At the end of the event, attendees participated in a Kahoot that was centered around fun facts about HBCUs around the country with the winner receiving a gift card.

GETTING OUT TO VOTE
With the magnitude of the election at stake, we wanted to make sure to do all that we could to help get out the vote in Philadelphia. Bro. Gregory Damas volunteered on Election Day to work the polls, and as a chapter we also released a Philadelphia voting guide to help inform voters of the policies of candidates running in local elections.
